For us/INTERNATIONAL guests, please fly to Sydney, brisbane, or melbourne and make a transfer.

Local airlines (Qantas, Virgin, and Jetstar) have flights departing the following cities to Hamilton Island multiple times a day.

• Sydney (2.5 hrs flight) - 2-3 flights a day

• Brisbane (1.5-2 hrs flight) - 2-3 flights a day

• Melbourne (3 hrs flight) - 1-2 flights a day

Getting Around

Hamilton Island is a Car-Free Island!

On foot

One of the best ways to explore the island is by walking. With several activities, restaurants and bars conveniently located on the resort side of the island, it’s also easy to wander from your accommodation to some of the island’s key highlights.

Buggy

Some hotel and housing options come with complimentary electric golf buggy, but some might not. If so, you can book a buggy on the island here.
